BioAlberta hosted an exciting and insightful Genome-Based Precision Medicine conversation with Don Husereau.

Those who attended in both Calgary and Edmonton learned how Alberta is doing relative to the rest of Canada and what more can be done to improve Alberta’s approach to genomic medicine.

What is Genomic Medicine in a nutshell:

Genomic medicine harbors the real potential to improve patients’ health and healthcare journey, care provider experiences, and improve health system efficiency – even reducing health care costs. Unlike traditional healthcare technology, genome-based testing can also create scientific research and commercial opportunities beyond healthcare decision-making.
