On September 25, 2025, BioAlberta will host the annual Health and Life Sciences Showcase (HLSS), to be held in Edmonton at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. This year’s HLSS is an opportunity to celebrate Alberta’s successes as a life sciences and health innovation ecosystem, focusing on how our traditional strengths will impact our future economy.
HLSS will include panels and discussions on a variety of life sciences topics:

• Using Artificial Intelligence to positively impact patient outcomes
• Accessing new markets: How to expand your business to United Kingdom and Europe
• Perspectives on the future of Life Sciences in the United States
• Leveraging Alberta’s data assets and real-world evidence to support and advance new treatments
• Investment trends for biotech and pharmaceuticals
• Improving the health of Albertans through effective diagnostics and screening programs

HLSS will also include BioAlberta’s Investor Panel, where Alberta companies will showcase their technologies to a panel of investors, plus receive one-on-one advice from the investors present.
